JAU was visited by Dr. Ashok Gulati, Chairman; Shri D. S. Raghu, Member ; Shri Shrikara Nayak, Adviser, and Mrs. Mamta, Deputy Director, Commission for Agricultural Cost and Prices(CACP), Govt of India on  November 11, 2013. They visited various departments like Food testing Laboratory, Department of Biotechnology, Department of Seed Science & Technology, Department of Entomology, Educational museum and Agrisnet Studio.

After visit, a meeting was arranged under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor,JAU, Junagadh Dr. N. C. Patel with concerned  scientistsof JAU.The Director of Research Dr. C. J. Dangaria,  informed about the activities JAU Junagadh specially research on  cotton. A fruitful and healthy discussion was made with the scientists regarding the activities related to cotton research and Extension for benefit of farmers. Various aspects of cotton cultivations were discussed.
